Paddle Painting

Paint a 14-inch pine wooden paddle with Claire Brascoupé. Claire demonstrates techniques to paint your paddle inspired by Algonquin medicinal plants and the plant life that surrounds us.

Register for this workshop and all required materials will be delivered to your door, or purchase your own materials and follow along with the video instruction. This event will be available for on-demand viewing following the live presentation on June 19.

Claire Brascoupé is a multimedia and digital artist practicing in community-based public art. She has experience in several public art projects in Ottawa and Gatineau. She has also designed and developed the Indigenous Public Art website. Claire Brascoupé has been engaged in public art as an artist, filmmaker, workshops facilitator, as well as a web designer.
